Formula 6 Association is the four stroke karting section of Rochester Motor Club and has been established for around forty years. It aims to provide a safe, low budget motor sport to members with limited time and resources. The Club is licensed by the MSA (the governing body for all UK motor sport) and all racing is administered under their strict regulation and stewardship.

Traditionally, F6 has aimed at family involvement and is renowned for its friendly approach. It is hoped that drivers, both young and a little older, will learn vehicle control, track craft, good behaviour, self discipline and competitiveness in a relatively safe and enjoyable environment.

We are the largest and oldest club that operates an all four stroke kart championship. To keep costs at a reasonable level the Technical Regulations have been developed over the years to permit choice and freedom whilst ensuring safety and competition. More recently we have introduced new generation four stroke breeds and are committed to continue.

It is still very much a family club and it is very pleasing in this day and age to see whole families and friends providing mutual support and encouragement. The racing would not be so enjoyable if it were not for the good behaviour and co-operation of the members and their congenial, friendly and helpful attitude.
